vortech supercharger on a stock 3.5lt pajero

Hi all,
I put this in here because there would be a lot more people who have turbo'd/supercharged the 6g7! motor than on the pajero forum.

I picked up a cheap second hand RIPPS supercharger kit from a v6 6g74 eclipse in Canada. I am only using the supercharger as the mount and pipe work is for a front wheel drive.

I have an 02 6g74 NM Pajero Exceed auto with 200000klms.
We use it almost exclusively for camping and towing the small caravan we have. It travels a lot on dirt roads and I only want to achieve extra torque for when I am towing . I am looking to do as little modifying as I need too.
can anyone tell me if I can install the supercharger and leave everything else stock?.
will the engine run ok without changing/modifying the ECU?.

as I said I am only looking to get 3-4 pound of boost.
